Letter Round: a daily category game you can play alone
One letter, 12 categories, 3 minutes. Everyone gets the same daily round, and Jev, an AI answer judge, scores it. No group needed to vote on answers.
Today’s round
Think of one answer per category that starts with the day’s letter. The letter and list appear when you start; the timer runs for 3 minutes.
Practice round
A random letter and 12 random categories, as many times as you like.
How scoring works
An answer counts if it starts with the letter (a leading “The”, “A” or “An” is ignored) and Jev rates its fit to the category at 50% or more. 25–49% is debatable and below that it doesn’t fit; neither scores. The same word used twice in a round counts once. Your score is the number of answers that count, out of 12.
Daily round: one play per day per browser, new letter at midnight UTC. Share your score without spoilers and keep a streak going.
Play Scattergories alone, or with friends
Classic Scattergories needs a group to vote on each answer. Here the judge does that, so you can play solo any time. Playing with friends? Everyone plays the same daily round and compares scores, or use the answer checker to settle an argument, and browse example answers for every letter.
Letters Q, U, V, X, Y and Z are left out, as on the classic 20-sided die.
